Our Staff to Child Ratios
We set out below our weekly child to staff ratios (including qualifications) so that there is transparency over what decisions are made.
If we are not able to staff our provision appropriately, you will be informed.
We are proud of our low staff to child ratio.
Our Curriculum Enhancement Charge enables our additional team members to provide pedagogical leadership, planning and high quality support for learning and development.
Level 6 Qualified Teachers
Our qualified teachers work with up to 13 children from 3 years of age.
Our Curriculum Enhancement Charge enables our teachers to work one-to-one and in small groups with children to develop their learning capabilities.
Level 3 Educators
Our Level 3 Educators work with up to 8 children from 3 years of age, up to 4 children from 2 years of age and 3 children under 2.
Our Curriculum Enhancement Charge enables our Educators to work one-to-one and in small groups with children to develop learning opportunities.
Level 2 Practitioners
Our Level 2 Practitioners work with 3 children under 2 and 4 children over 2 years of age.
Unqualified Staff
Our unqualified staff are not counted within our ratios. Staff are experienced and trained to work within our setting. Many of our unqualified staff are undertaking an Apprenticeship or teacher training.
